Andrea's Fig Delight!

Take advantage of late summer fig and honey production with this 'figlicious' treat from Andrea Peterson, the Innkeeper of Blue Heron Farm Bed & Breakfast in beautiful Fallbrook, California.

Halve fresh figs and place them on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Drizzle honey over the figs.

Broil until the honey bubbles on the figs.

Serve figs with a drop of sour cream and some of nuts on the side.

You could also sprinkle chopped nuts over the figs.
